I had the opportunity to work as Assistant Director on Alice By Heart, performed at The Loco Klub. Set during World War II, the musical follows a young girl, Alice, as she navigates grief by escaping into the fantastical world of Lewis Carroll’s wonderland.

In this role, I collaborated closely with the directing team to shape the show’s tone, lighting, and atmosphere; led rehearsals with a focus on characterisation, staging, and scene work; and supported departments across marketing, choreography, and producing.

This project was a powerful blend of creativity, collaboration, and storytelling, and I’m so proud to have contributed to a show that resonated so deeply with its audience, as evident in the reviews. Working with such a dedicated team across multiple departments strengthened my skills as both a director and a creative.
